At the heart of Capitol Hill, we are currently seeking a professional Bartender/Server to join the a/stir team at our bustling restaurant/bar and entertainment venue. We would like to hire a passionate person with plenty of beverage knowledge in beer, wine, cider, and cocktails. The main focus is to give excellent tableside service with an emphasis on confidence behind the bar.

Our team is passionate about creating a gluten-free menu and amodating various allergies. The position offered is full-time, with 3-5 shifts per week. It also includes the opportunity to work in private events, both on and off-site.

We are looking for tenured bartenders with serving experience. A background in casually upscale dining environment is a MUST. Knowledge of contemporary American cuisine, basic understanding of Mediterranean cuisine, extensive knowledge of cocktails, cider, beer and wine are also MUSTs. We are looking for people who can upsell, engage and excel.

For regular shifts the base pay will be $20.76/hr. With tips, our servers make on average $40-55/hour. This is just a range for the average bartender/server.
