ABOUT US

Mox Boarding House is a premier, friendly and engaging Retail & Restaurant spaces in Seattle, Bellevue, and Portland (with more on the way!) We see tabletop gaming as a campfire a place to gather, and celebrate and our spaces as the place ourmunitiese to do just that. Our Restaurants offer excellent service, interactive experiences, and scratch-cooked menus paired with craft beers and cocktails.

Our Front of House Support provides peak-hours support to our service teams, helping with hosting, expediting, and on the floor. They play a key role in delivering on our high level customer experience, interacting with our staff and guests alike

Role Objectives

Execute expediting of orders from the service window

Assist service staff by providing beverage support and table clearing

Monitors our restaurant space to ensure cleanliness

Facilitate guests joining or dropping from our waitlist, including guest education of our policies

Act as a brand representative of our space both in person and by phone, answering guest questions

Greet and seat guests, and assuring servers are aware when a new table arrives in their section

Ensures adequate stock levels of barware, flatware, and dishes

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.

Possess a valid Food Handlers permit for the region.

1 Year (or more) of previous experience in Food Service or Hospitality Industry

Able to read, understand, andmunicate standardized procedures

Strong Problem-solving skills, with a drive to self-motivate and stayanized

Works calm under pressure, both as part of a team and individually

Demonstratedmitment to high-quality service

Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays in addition to covering shifts

Possesses relevant alcohol service permit for the region (preferred not required)
