Job Description
Catering - Waitstaff
BYU Catering serves meals created by chefs, all over campus, to guests ranging from FSY (For the Strength of Youth) participants, to General Authorities, elite athletes, and the special guests and donors that visit Campus. There is always something fun and new at Catering. You could even work with and learn from the award-winning Chefs!
This is a part-time position (scheduled for 17.5 hours/week)
What you'll do in this position:
Attend to guests for buffets and plated meals
Buss tables and clean-up crews
Assist in food preparation when needed
Clean and wash items used
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to obtain Food Handlers Permit within two weeks of your first day (if you don't have one already)
Ability to lift 20-25 lbs.
Must be able to be on your feet for 4-5 hours at a time.
