Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our high-end Mexican cocktail bar. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an upscale, high-energy environment and is deeply knowledgeable about both craft cocktails and elevated Mexican cuisine. You will play a key role in delivering a refined, memorable guest experience through exceptional beverage execution and informed food pairing recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve craft cocktails with precision, focusing on tequila, mezcal, and agave-based spirits
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on both beverages and food items, including thoughtful food and cocktail pairings
• Maintain a deep understanding of Mexican cuisine, ingredients, and regional influences
• Engage guests with professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail
• Ensure bar setup, cleanliness, and organization meet high-end service standards
• Monitor inventory, prep fresh ingredients, and maintain bar stock
• Work collaboratively with beverage director and General Manager to ensure seamless guest experience
• Uphold all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bartending experience in an upscale or craft cocktail environment
• Strong knowledge of tequila, mezcal, and agave spirits (certifications a plus)
• Extensive food knowledge, particularly Mexican cuisine, with the ability to explain dishes, ingredients, and pairings confidently
• Passion for hospitality and delivering elevated guest experiences
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fine dining or high-end bar programs
• Familiarity with regional Mexican dishes, flavor profiles, and seasonal ingredients
• Previous experience collaborating closely with kitchen teams

Compensation: Hourly ($11.35) plus tips
