Part-time Cook for Senior Nutrition

SUMMARY: Assist in the operations of the central kitchen for Senior Nutrition. Duties will include the preparation of food for contract meals & catering as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Chef as needed in food production for catering and senior nutrition

Put away inventory (FIFO method -first in, first out)

Use commercial kitchen equipment

Responsible for following health & safety protocols in maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment - including dishwashing, mopping, etc.

Follow recipes & portion servings appropriately

Fill out forms & labels with direction

Follow special instructions regarding allergies & special diets

Interact with staff & volunteers in a positive manner
