Kochi, a Michelin-starred Korean restaurant in the heart of Hells Kitchen, is currently seeking full-time Servers to join our dedicated hospitality team.
Kochi presents a refined yet approachable tasting menu inspired by Korean street food traditions, reinterpreted with seasonal ingredients and modern technique. With a focus on warm, attentive service and curated pairings, our goal is to offer each guest a memorable, heartfelt dining experience from arrival to farewell.
As a server, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service and embodying the warmth, professionalism, and precision that define the Kochi experience. This role requires a balance of technical knowledge, emotional intelligence, and genuine hospitality.
Weekend and evening availability is required.
Key Focus
Accurately take food and beverage orders, providing guidance and recommendations based on deep menu knowledge. Deliver a seamless dining experience from initial greeting to final farewell. Ensure all food and beverage orders are executed with precision and timeliness. Communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH teams to maintain smooth service flow. Present and describe menu items and beverage pairings with confidence and care.
Personnel
Engage fully in pre-shift meetings and regular service training. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance. Uphold health and safety standards throughout service. Support your team by anticipating needs and stepping in when necessary. Demonstrate a desire to learn and grow alongside a team of driven hospitality professionals.
Guest Service
Consistently deliver gracious, informed, and personalized service. Build rapport with new and returning guests, fostering a sense of welcome and familiarity. Proactively accommodate dietary restrictions and communicate special needs to the kitchen. Respond promptly and thoughtfully to guest feedback and concerns. Maintain a warm and professional dining room atmosphere at all times.

Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a chef-driven or fine dining restaurant preferred, but not required. Familiarity with Korean cuisine and wine knowledge is a plus. Ability to multitask under pressure in a high-paced environment. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. A team-first attitude, positive demeanor, and eagerness to learn are essential.
Compensation & Benefits

Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, and move with agility throughout service.
