Line Cook

Marsh Creek Country Club is seeking a dedicated and professional Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with club recipes and standards, ensuring a top-tier dining experience for our members and guests. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation while upholding cleanliness and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.

Ensure food is prepared according to recipe, presentation, and quality standards.

Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.

Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and kitchen organization as needed.

Work closely with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during peak hours.

Communicate effectively with servers and other staff regarding order timing and modifications.

Follow all club and kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in a line cook or similar kitchen role (country club or upscale dining preferred).

Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and consistency.

Strong attention to detail and time management.

Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
