About us:
Lei is a new, small and focused, Chinese Cuisine-driven wine bar set to open in Chinatown this summer. At Lei, youll be part of an opening team that values curiosity, hospitality, and community.

Role Description:
Were hiring a Runner / Polisher to support front-of-house operations and deliver on service standards. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and eager to grow in a hospitality setting that supports curiosity and human connection.

Responsibilities:
Run food from kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
Clear, clean, and reset tables
Polish and restock glassware, flatware, and service items
Maintain clean and organized service stations
Stock and replenish supplies throughout service
Assist with non-alcoholic beverage prep and water service
Support servers in delivering seamless, attentive service
Ensure opening and closing duties are completed to standard
Collaborate with both FOH and BOH teams to maintain flow and guest satisfaction
Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:
1+ years of experience as a runner or backserver in a full-service or fine dining environment
Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
Able to multitask and remain composed in a rapid restaurant setting
Attention to detail with care to maintain high standards
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
Able to lift up to 30 lbs
Interest in Chinese cuisine and wine is a plus

Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
