Receptionist

POSITION: Receptionist

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position reports to the Program Manager. Receptionist will perform general office functions including greeting clients and participants in front office, determine nature of visits, and direct callers to appropriate personnel. Will receive telephone calls, screen, direct and record messages. Will type routine correspondence and memorandums. Responsible for logging urinalysis test results and delivering results to corresponding Counselors. Compile and type statistical reports, make copies of correspondence or other printed materials using copying machine. Tracking telephonic sessions and attendance of all groups including telehealth and face to face. Assist in billing for groups and individual sessions. Medical verification and scheduling of physicals. Tracking and ordering all office supplies as needed. Track and record all ingoing and outgoing mail. Brief screening and scheduling of intakes.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Must type at least 35 wpm and have some experience with windows environment. Requires a professional, pleasant and effective representation of the organization. Good front office appearance. Bilingual in Spanish and English a must. If a recovering addict, a minimum of five years drug free are mandatory.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California driver's license. Must submit to and pass a background check clearance and drug test as a pre condition for employment. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, recent TB test and a pre-employment physical exam.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma OR equivalent achievement. Possess at least two (2) years experience with public or private sector in clerical/receptionist field.
