Position Summary:
As the Offsite Lead Bartender for 16 On Centers concert, pop-up, and special event locations, youll be responsible for overseeing all bar operations at offsite events, which primarily take place from June through October and average 1216 events per year. This includes ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional service while upholding high standards of guest experience, team coordination, and beverage quality. You will act as the primary point of contact for the bar team during events and lead setup, breakdown, inventory, and service flow. This role requires someone whos calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Owns:
- Lead a team of bartenders and barbacks during offsite events and concerts
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure bar staff follow service standards and health regulations
- Provide coaching and support to maintain a cohesive, productive team environment
- Oversee full bar setup and breakdown including equipment, inventory, signage, and POS systems
- Ensure drink recipes and presentation meet 16 On Center standards
- Monitor guest flow and adjust operations to maintain efficiency and speed of service
Shares in:
- Manage onsite beverage inventory, restock as needed, and prevent loss
- Maintain accurate counts of product used and sales
- Management and distribution of cash and credit card tips
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and engaging presence behind the bar
- Ensure guest satisfaction by handling issues promptly and respectfully
- Promote brand values and uphold a high level of hospitality
- Enforce responsible alcohol service and monitor guest consumption
- Adhere to local alcohol service laws, safety guidelines, and sanitation protocols
- Ensure compliance with venue-specific policies and licensing requirements
About You:
- 2+ years of bartending experience; 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role preferred
- Experience in high-volume bar service, especially at concerts, events, or festivals
- Strong cocktail knowledge and comfort with beer, wine, and spirits
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
- Resourceful, solutions-oriented, and proactive in dynamic settings
- Friendly, team-focused, and committed to delivering excellent hospitality
- Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and offsite travel
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid drivers license and ability to drive vans or trucks
- Comfortable with kegged cocktail systems and event-based bar setups
Compensation: Hourly ($13.00 - $20.00)
