Nuvrei Patisserie & Cafe is looking to expand its front of house team!

Nuvrei is a French-inspired patisserie focused on providing our customers with an experience of the highest quality on every front. We are primarily a pastry shop but we take our coffee seriously and strive to serve the best coffee in town. We desire to create a cafe environment unlike any that Portland currently provides. If you desire to be on a cutting-edge, exciting, quality driven team, this is your job.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about hospitality as part of an enthusiastic, detail-oriented staff. We work in a small & busy space so efficiency of motion and ability to handle pressure are paramount to being successful at Nuvrei. Greeting customers, giving great service, making coffee, taking orders, boxing up pastries, & using the POS are some of the primary expectations of this role. Staff are expected to be able to work in a quick, clean, courteous, and professional manner.

We serve Portland-based Heart Roasters on a La Marzocco Strada MP. If you have a genuine interest in specialty coffee, and in serving high quality espresso, we want you on our team!

The job does require some light lifting, bending, and the ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time.

Position is roughly 28-30 hours a week.

Weekend availability and 2 years prior barista experience is preferred.
