Custodian 7AM to 3PM

The Custodian provides a clean, safe learning environment for students and staff through regularly assigned duties and maintenance as required.This is a calendar year non-exempt positionResponsible and accountable for maintaining the building in a clean and safe condition.Working closely with the Facilities Manager team making sure the schools policies and procedures are properly and consistently implemented and maintained.*Consistent, reliable attendance is a MUST*Some experience in housekeeping preferred*Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment*Some knowledge of procedures to operate heating and air conditioning equipment*Interpersonal and communication skills*Attention to detail*Organizational and self-management skills*Ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively*Willingness to work as part of a team*Dependability*Readiness to go above and beyond when necessary to reach goalsCandidates must meet all employment requirements including, but not limited to, state and/or federal education and certification requirements, successful completion of criminal background and reference checks, and skills testing if required for the position.
