Job Details The Rezdora team is looking for a dynamic and energetic Maitre D' who is dedicated to the hospitality industry and is looking to build their career in the world of fine dining. The Maitre D' is expected to greet and seat guests, answer phones and help management with reservations emails. They will also participate in driving service which may include clearing tables, running food and taking cocktail orders. They will also maintain our various spaces and act as a liason between the FOH and BOH.As a Maitre'D with us you are responsible for cooperating with the Management team and supervising the Host team to greet incoming and departing guests with a warm, knowledgeable & noticeably appreciative demeanor and a genuine smile with eye contact. The Maitre'D must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment to achieve the restaurants common goal of guest satisfaction. The Maitre'D must be personable with guests and be able to anticipate their needs.
This is a part-time position and requires flexible schedule availability: including nights, and weekends. The rate for this position ranges from $20 an hour to $23 an hour (based on experience) + gratuities.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 2 years + experience in a fast paced NYC restaurant as a Lead Host or Maitre'D
- Experience working with Resy is preferred
- Must be knowledgeable of Industry critics & awards
- Must have full schedule availability including weekends
- Must be able to take constructive criticism and work well in a team dynamic
SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be warm, knowledgeable and noticeably appreciative
- Accommodate guests by making each individual feel welcome
- Act professionally and always maintain composure
- Identify and report problems to management immediately
- Be aware of service flow, dining timing, and adjust for each guests individual needs
- Implement and follow steps of service
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The Maitre'D should
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time [over 5 hours]
- Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds steadily
- Be comfortable bending, sitting, walking extended distances including up and down flights of stairs, and moving.

Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $25.00) plus tips
