Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the In Room Dining Department while ensuring guest satisfaction. The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, and handle guest complaints, concerns or special requests for all hotel guests. Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience. This role has direct contact with guests and as such good communication skills are a necessity. This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule, able to work morning/afternoon/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management
Two to three years previous experience in a line, supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage
Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
Good command of the English language
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
